At Velocity , we have implemented several things into our production that help us be more environmentally conscious and self-sustainable. We print with eco-friendlier, water-based inks and phthalate free plastisol screen printing ink. The new water-based inks on the market are a vast improvement from the inks of the past. Since ours is a shop pushing the support of fashion garments and creative trends, water-based inks are the best choice.. Using water-based ink gives that soft-hand print that is in such high demand for fashion prints, and is essential for our over-the-seam printing orders. These new inks are the most environmentally safe option on the market. We have also moved from aerosol spray glue to a water-based solution( think elmyrs glue)

Fortunately the shirt manufactures have responded to the demand for organic shirts. We now have a wide variety of organic, recycled and sustainable shirts, to chose from. These shirts have come a long way from the organic shirts we first started using 10 years ago – they are now super soft and fashionable cut.
